Terms of Service

Agreement

By accessing or using rawbase.io you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, in line with data protection law in Slovakia. We may update these terms at any time by posting a revised version with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

About rawbase.io

rawbase.io is an independent community platform for sharing and discovering photo editing presets. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by RapidRaw or its developers. References to “RapidRaw” and “.rrpreset” refer to a file format supported by the RapidRaw application and are used for descriptive purposes only.

Your Account

• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate information when registering.
• You may hold one account. Creating duplicate accounts to evade enforcement is prohibited.
• If you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, contact us immediately at contact@rawbase.io.
• You may delete your own account at any time from Settings. When you request it you choose whether your published presets are deleted with it, or left on the platform credited to “Deleted User”. The deletion is carried out no sooner than 30 days later; signing in again before then cancels it. Once carried out it permanently deletes your profile, avatar, votes, favorites, and reports, and cannot be undone.

Content You Upload

• You retain ownership of the preset files, images, and text you upload. By uploading content you grant rawbase.io a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, serve, and reproduce that content for the purpose of operating the platform, including through third-party hosting and content-delivery providers we use to run it. This licence ends when you delete the content, or when you delete your account and ask for your presets to be deleted with it, at which point the underlying files are permanently removed. If you delete your account but ask for your presets to be kept on the platform, the licence continues for those presets so they can stay published.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload and distribute everything you submit, including any presets, preview images, and descriptions.
• Downloading a preset from rawbase.io gives you a personal licence to use that preset file for your own photo editing. It does not transfer ownership or copyright in the preset, and does not by itself give you the right to redistribute, resell, or re-upload it elsewhere — check the individual creator's stated terms, if any, for anything beyond personal use.
• You can remove your own presets at any time from your account; removal is permanent. To request full removal of all associated account data, delete your account from Settings or contact us.

Prohibited Content and Uses

• Do not upload preset files that contain malware, exploits, or malicious code.
• Do not upload NSFW, illegal, or hateful content in preview images, thumbnails, or text fields.
• Do not upload presets you do not have the right to distribute.
• Do not engage in spam, coordinated vote manipulation, or operate fake accounts.
• Do not scrape or crawl the platform in ways that place excessive load on our infrastructure or that circumvent access controls.

Moderation and Enforcement

We may remove content, issue warnings, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms. We are not obligated to pre-screen every upload, but we respond to user reports and may act on our own initiative. When we remove content, we will make reasonable efforts to tell the uploader why. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting contact@rawbase.io. Final decisions on content removal and account actions are at our discretion. Support and Donations

rawbase.io does not currently charge for any feature. The “Show Your Support” link accepts voluntary donations through Ko-fi. Donations are not payment for any preset, feature, or service, are not refundable, and do not grant any additional rights on the platform.

Disclaimers

rawbase.io is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. Preset files on this platform are user-submitted. We make no warranty about their safety, quality, or fitness for any purpose. You download and use files at your own risk. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or conduct of third parties.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, rawbase.io and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability where such a limit is not permitted under the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovakia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute not resolved informally will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Slovakia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your own country under mandatory consumer protection rules, and this clause does not deprive you of that right.

General

• If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
• These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Legal page, are the entire agreement between you and rawbase.io regarding the platform.
• We may assign or transfer these terms, and the operation of rawbase.io, to another individual or entity — for example, if the platform moves to being operated by a registered company. We will update the Imprint page to reflect who operates the platform.
• You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time.
